[Gen 2:25 KJV] 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. In Gen 2:25 we have a quick glimpse into the original condition of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve had no shame between them in their relationship, despite being completely naked. The idea of being naked suggest that we have nothing to hide from our mates.

We’re going to take this scripture and apply it to how we should handle the flaws and imperfections in our mates. I think many times we believe that loving our mates is about fixing all their flaws and solving all their problems, but deeply loving is about accepting your mate as a broken vessel.

Mat 13:27 NIV] 27 "The owner's servants came to him and said, 'Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?' We see this even today when unbelievers question the existence of a God because of the evil that exist in the world. They think that the world should be free sin and evil because if God exist and is a loving God, he would wipe out all that evil. So they refuse to believe that God exist.

Will be looking at a 2 century christian by the name of Polycarp. Polycarp was the Bishop of the church in Smyrna, a city in Asia Minor (ca. 69-ca. 155) Polycarp was an old man, at least 86, and probably the last surviving person to have known an apostle, having been a disciple of St. John. This was one reason he was greatly revered as a teacher and church leader.

In session we are looking at a Christian Martyr by the name of Paul. Paul was an Apostle of Jesus and was originally known as Saul of Tarsus, but it is important to note that he was not one of the original Twelve Apostles. According to writings in the New Testament Paul, who was originally called Saul, was dedicated to the persecution of the early disciples of Jesus in the area of Jerusalem.

Eph_4:11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers. The Apostle Paul is telling the Christians in Ephesus that there are different roles in the body of Christ. It is important to notice that Teaching is listed as a distinct role for the body of believers and it is not just a subset of skills listed under the other roles. And although these roles have distinct characteristics, they also have some overlap.

There needs to be some testing about what has been learned. After all, what would being a student be like without being testing. The kind of testing a student goes through as a disciple of Jesus is not about what they know, but about what they do and how they maintain their faith in times of testing and temptation. We all go through testing and being tempted at one time or another, and we see in the bible that even Jesus was tempted by the devil.

God sends believers to help other believers to learn and grow in the faith. As a teacher sent from God we should be careful to teach exactly what’s meant by God and not water down the message of God based on who’s listening right? This can easily be confused with teaching a message that has been developed specifically for an audience's level of understanding.

In this section of our show we like to highlight stories where God has intervened in a miraculous way. All throughout the Bible we see where our Heavenly Father has intervened in the lives of man. We see that our God is the same yesterday, today and forever and so We thought we would share with you an encouraging story of how God not only saved the lives of a couple but changed it forever

[Act 16:25 NIV] 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. We see Paul and Silas in prison and beaten. They could have easily been lamenting over their situation and blaming Satan for the current situation, but instead these men decided to glorify and praise God. It is easy to think that our situation dictates God’s worthiness for praise, but this is not true. Regardless of our condition or situation, whether at the...

[Mat 11:6 NIV] 6 Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of me.The bible tells us that we should live as Jesus lived so that we may limit the amount of our stumbling and errors. The good thing is that if we do stumble, we know someone who can help us stand.

For some reason we seem to give Satan more attention than he deserves. Whether we realize it or not, we honor and glorify Satan by giving him the attention that should be given to Jesus. Some Christians seem to give Satan credit for every bad thing that happens in their lives. When actually it is the consequences of their own bad decisions, not Satan.

Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. The motives of our heart are very important for us to consider, the fact is that a pure heart is not about being perfect, but more about the purity of our motives.

Mat_5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. We know that peace does not come on its own or easily most of the time. Matt 5:9 says “peacemakers” because we live in a hostile world that needs people who will create peace where there is no peace.

I think we can all say that we want to be judged mercifully and that we want a large measure of grace to be used. The wonderful thing is God has already judged us with His mercy at the cross. If we were give so much mercy at the cross by God, then how much more should we give mercy to others.

Mat 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. As Christians, we would like to believe everything’s going to be smooth sailing after we’re saved but that’s not the case, the fact of the matter is Jesus said we will be persecuted for his name sake.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—(and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. It’s not by our works everyone. This is such a common scenario. We need to look at the motive behind doing good deeds.

Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. The pure in heart can see into God’s heart and one of the important things for us believers is to see how God see all people on this earth. Many times we see others through our judgmental eyes, through eyes that see only the enemies of God, instead of the children of God.

Jesus came to bring truth into the world. Jesus’ truth was that he was the way the truth and the life. This created division and disrupted the peace and the trust that man has in his religious system.

Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. We may think that seeing God is only reserved for an elect group, and that may certainly be the case, but we can also see that Jesus tells His disciples that if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father.

[Luk 8:12 NIV] 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. This is a very popular parable from Jesus and he is explaining how a seed if planted in bad soil will not grow to maturity. This whole idea of growing into christian maturity is repeated in many places in the New testament, so we should take note of this message.
